Good Enough for a Goblin

Good Enough for a Goblin is an achievement that requires the player to defeat the Corporeal Beast while wielding a bronze spear. The spear must be used throughout the entire kill, not just for the finishing blow. The achievement is tracked when the Beast spawns - if it takes any type of damage outside of a bronze spear and poison, the player is automatically disqualified from the achievement.

As the bronze spear is a very weak weapon against the Corporeal Beast, players might include alternate ways of harming the beast. Weapon poison, Cinderbane gloves, and brawler's blood necklace among various other things can improve chances of killing the beast without breaking the rules for the achievement. Bringing a Beast of Burden familiar with food may be helpful, as when the Corporeal Beast devours the familiar, the food will be left on the ground and still usable. Additionally, primal feasts may be viable as it heals a total of 10,000 life points. A dwarf multicannon or its melee/magic counterparts, as well as dreadnips, cannot be used for this achievement. Any type of armour spikes may not be used for this achievement.

The Corporeal Beast must be killed in an instance set to one player.

    • The Good Enough for a Goblin achievement now correctly accounts for non-melee weapons.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Even though the achievement can only be done alone, the disqualification message that appears will state that someone else caused the player to be disqualified.
