Not to be confused with The Golden Scarab Inn.
Golden scarab detail.png

A golden scarab is found in the Pyramid Plunder minigame in the rooms requiring a thieving level of 51 or higher. It can be sold to Simon Templeton for 1,000 coins. After completing the Dealing with Scabaras quest, players can gain the ability to sell Simon noted artefacts. Sometime this can't be seen on the platform that the Golden chest sits on in the middle of the room. Right-click options are still available and the red item dot on the mini-map still appears.

Golden scarabs can also be used to recharge the pharaoh's sceptre or the sceptre of the gods.

    • With the above change, the charge value of Golden scarabs will be 1 charge.
