Golden rock (Ranged) detail.png

Golden rocks obtained by fighting monsters that make use of Ranged are part of the Statue of Rhiannon. Two are required to complete the statue each time that it is built. Golden rocks may be stored inside a statue collection bag.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Killing any monster that uses ranged attacks and drops summoning charms.

Troll chuckers in the Abandoned Burthorpe mine are recommended after unlocking the Taverley path book, or having a skill level total of 250 or greater. Prior to these requirements, the trolls do not drop charms, and thus cannot give a rock.

Ranged Dagannoth in the Waterbirth Island Dungeon are another quick way to obtain the rock, as there are more spawns than in the troll cave. However, they are aggressive and more dangerous.

  • update 16 September 2019 (Update):
    • Troll chuckers, shamans and brutes in the Burthorpe troll cave all now have an equal chance to drop charms, and therefore strange/gold rocks (but only when you have unlocked the Taverley path book, or have a skill level total of 250 or greater).
