The God capes are rewards from the Mage Arena minigame. To receive a cape, the player must win the minigame by defeating Kolodion in his four guises, then speak to him, step through the nearby sparkling pool, and finally pray at the statue of the god of a player's choice: Saradomin, Guthix, or Zamorak. Upon praying at a god's statue, the god's cape will appear next to the player and can be picked up.

These god capes require a Magic level of 60. They are Tier 50 armour, have a Defence attribute of 25, and a Magic style boost of 31. The god capes are tied with the Max cape and Completionist cape for the second-highest magic strength bonus of any cape, only surpassed by the TokHaar-Kal-Mej.
Spells[edit | edit source]
Historically, the god capes, along with the appropriate God staves, were required to cast the Charge spell, which enabled the player to hit up to 50% higher with the appropriate God spell. Charge was eliminated with the Evolution of Combat update.
A new spell, Divine Storm, is in the standard spellbook and can be unlocked when the minigame is completed. It does not require a god cape or staff.
Replacement and storage[edit | edit source]
Each of the capes only have a high alchemy value of 60 coins. If a player dies, their cape will not be kept on death.
A player can get a new cape by praying at the statue of its god. Multiple capes can be obtained. Kolodion does not have to be fought again.
These capes, which date from RuneScape Classic, should not be confused with God cloaks from Treasure Trails, and other capes that come from different minigames.
