This article is about Giant frog. For the smaller and weaker version, see Big frog.

A Giant frog is a monster found in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves and Dorgesh-Kaan South Dungeon. They are found to the south of the cave system

At level 44, they are the toughest monster in the swamp caves. Three can be found on the south-eastern part of the cave complex, located just next to the entrance to Juna's cavern, on a platform accessible by jumping over a stepping stone in the water. If one fails the jump and falls into the water, their light source will get extinguished, although not destroyed, and will simply require to be reignited. It is recommended to use an Oil lantern or similar light source inside due to the threat of an explosion of gas in the caves.

Their frequent drops of nature runes and giant frog legs combined to their closeness to the Lumbridge Castle and Culinaromancer's Chest banks, can also make training fairly profitable for lower levelled players. The occasional drop of cosmic runes also make them a worthwhile grind for a lower levelled (Hardcore) Ironman character, who might be in need of those to enchant jewellery, especially acquiring the ring of Luck early on in the game.
