Gatherer's cape detail.png

The gatherer's cape is an Expert cape of Accomplishment that shows the wearer has achieved level 99 in multiple related skills. For the gatherer's cape these skills are Archaeology, Divination, Farming, Fishing, Hunter, Mining and Woodcutting.

The release of the Archaeology skill means that players who previously owned a gatherer's cape have lost the cape, and have had the shards refunded to them automatically into the expert skillcape shard bag. Players will have to gain the ancient shard to be able to make this cape again.

To get the gatherer's cape, players must train any of these skills beyond level 99 in order to gain a skill shard for each skill. Once one shard per skill has been obtained, players can combine them to create a gatherer's cape, and a matching cosmetic hood. The shards required for the gatherer's cape are the ancient, balanced, cultivated, damp, trapped, mineral, and wooden shards.

The Capes of Accomplishment each have a perk. The support, gatherer's, artisan's, and combatant's capes can hold up to two of those perks, from their respective skill sets, by consuming a cape by using the respective cape on the relevant cape. Master Capes of Accomplishments can be added, and will retain the perks of both the standard and master versions when added. If the standard counterpart is already added, then adding the master version will replace it.

The Cape of Accomplishment cannot be retrieved, which means that switching perks effectively costs 99,000 coins each time or 120,000 for master versions (extra capes are easiest to get from Elen Anterth's store in the Max Guild). For a list of perks see Cape of Accomplishment#List of Capes of Accomplishment and perks.

The Gatherer's cape has the same stats as an ordinary skillcape, and is also capable of boosting its associated skill by +1 for a short period of time.

The gatherer's cape can't be re-obtained from Diango if a keepsake key was used on it.
