Ganodermic beasts are monsters requiring a Slayer level of 95 to kill. They are found at the bottom of the Polypore Dungeon (this includes the Agility and resource section). Players cannot receive these as a Slayer task if their Magic level is below 60 as magic is the only style of combat that harms them.

Ganodermic beasts are the only monsters along with Ganodermic runts that have a chance to drop the ganodermic gloves and boots. Additionally, only these beasts can drop the polypore stick.

• ninja 2 October 2017 (Update):
  • Ganodermic creatures now display their weakness on the slayer counter.

• patch 19 November 2013 (Update):
  • Ganodermic creatures no longer display a positive effect when having neem oil sprinkled on them.

• patch 12 February 2013 (Update):
  • Ganodermic beasts are once again non-aggressive.

• patch 5 February 2013 (Update):
  • Ganodermic beasts now use magic auto attacks when being attacked by melee.

• patch 22 November 2012 (Update):
  • Ganodermic beasts have been given significantly more health. As such, the trash cabbage drops have been removed.

• update 28 November 2011 (Update):
  • Added to game.

Trivia

• After the release of the Evolution of Combat, Ganodermic beasts had too low life points for their level. This was quickly hotfixed by adding 5 coins and cabbage drops as common, temporary fillers until their health was increased, with those drops being removed once it was fixed.
• Ganodermic beasts and all other Polypore creatures can be sprayed with neem oil as soon as they spawn by clicking the neem oil before they spawn.
• As of 1 February 2018, the highest kill count for these monsters was 259,437 kills, shared with all polypore creatures.
  • This had increased to 351,360 by 6 May 2018.
