Fury shark detail.png

Fury sharks can be obtained as a drop from lava strykewyrms and wildywyrms. They are the third highest healing food found outside of Daemonheim behind great gunkans and sailfish calorie bombs. Consuming one heals 2475 life points while in combat or 2800 life points outside of combat. Additionally, consuming a fury shark gives a 1 minute passive effect where one worn item or item in a player's inventory will be protected in the event they die. The effects of this are identical to that of the Protect Item prayer and powder of item protection. These effects can be used simultaneously, however there is a hard cap of being able to protect a maximum of 5 items on death. If a fury shark is dropped, it will appear as a regular shark when it appears to other players.

Its examine info refers to its old removal date, although saying it is only a suggestion as the date is already past.
    • Its previous examine text was simply "Best before end: Bennath, 169."
