The various Fremennik rings are each suitable for one of the combat classes and provide attack and defence bonuses that would be best used by a member of that combat class. They are dropped by the Dagannoth Kings in the Waterbirth Island Dungeon. These rings can be upgraded with drops from the Rex Matriarchs in Anachronia.
The Fremennik rings are some of the very few rings in RuneScape to give stat bonuses. They were formerly some of the most expensive rings, but gradually dropped in price as more powerful rings were released; their popularity and price soared again after the upgraded versions were introduced, making them viable in high-tier combat again.
Players can spend points earned in the Soul Wars minigame to imbue the rings, which will slightly increase their bonuses.
