The Free Trade Competition was a competition to guess the amount of coins that would be transferred in any form, including trades player-to-player and through the Grand Exchange, staking, and kills in the Wilderness, from 5 February 2011 to 6 February 2011. The winner would receive an “I brought back the Wilderness” t-shirt that was signed by the entire RuneScape Team. This was done in celebration of trade limit being removed on 1 February 2011.[1]

A total of 26 trillion coins were transferred (precisely 26,096,459,160,643 coins). A player named Feeriix was the closest and was proclaimed the winner.[2]
