What Quality of Life changes would you like to see on the RuneScape Wiki? We want your ideas!

Hi everyone! It's been almost 4 months since the RuneScape Wiki moved to our new home and now we want to get your suggestions for quality-of-life improvements we can add to the wiki. We've already added some cool features, often inspired by comments from Reddit. Here are a few:

The reception to these has been really positive, and we really appreciate that people are making the most out of the site and enjoying these changes. There's still more to be done though, and we want to know what you'd like us to work on next.

If you've ever looked at a wiki page and thought, "It'd be really cool if I could..." or "It'd be really cool if this page had..." then please take this opportunity to let us know using this page.

The above is a direct quote from Jayden's thread on reddit. Farming-icon.png Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 22:02, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

Discussion

Per reddit comments that have not yet been answered:

  • General:
    • Have the Developers identified on each main page. Quest infoboxes have it, but for example, AOD barely states that Ramen was responsible for it;
    • Requirements checker for achievement diaries;
    • Adding estimated or known drop rates and item values to the Clue scroll rewards pages, like a standard monster page drop table - Basically runemetrics project, but for clue rewards;
    • In game account linking;
    • Similar to tables for the location you can buy/kill for an item, tables for spawn points and other harvesting areas;
  • Calculators:
    • Ability to put bonus xp in the calculators for skilling;
    • Incorporate VoS into skilling calculators other than Prif thieving.
    • Calculate the number of urns needed for a skill so a person doesn't make more than they need;
    • Hit chance calculator. Work in progress Calculator:Hit chance.

Clue drop chances are extremely hard to get since it is not logged by metrics. The best we have are the streams from several years ago, which are now pretty outdated since they do not include new rewards nor masters. OSRS should have luck on this front soon, but the clues have diverged enough that it isn't really useful to RS3. Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 14:50, 7 February 2019 (UTC)

For me, we really need to take a good look at our calculators. As Merds mentioned above, several redditors have mentioned fixes for calculators, but really they need more than patched with some fixes. I honestly never use our skilling calculators (even back before I was maxed and was using calcs regularly. They always felt too clunky to me. I personally always used the calculators at TipIt because they were just so much simplier and streamlined. I understand that, as a wiki, our backend is different than what a normal website would be so things don't quite work the same, but I think we could really simplify our skill calculators a lot. That would be my personal pick for priority QoL projects.  RS AdvLogMyles Prower  Talk 06:36, 4 February 2019 (UTC)

Maybe a calendar on the mainpage for runescape events, wiki events, upcoming updates, TH promotions and daily/weekly/monthly resets for D&D's. It be good to have one place just to see everything that's going on. Off-hand drygore longsword (blood).pngVantagor TalkDrygore longsword (blood).png 18:44, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

Yea so, I'm not sure if possible but, when I go into source edit and I double click a word to paste over, it will not only highlight the word, but the space after it, I only want it to highlight the word. Usually I will just copy the word + space after it, although as that is a work around, I do not particularity like doing this. Wondering if this can be changed.
