Forum:Update Infobox Skin
Hello everyone, I would like to propose changes to the current and outdated
With the addition of the Marketplace becoming the new place to purchase cosmetics/skin overrides, the current that is used is outdated. Currently it only includes the "sgs" parameter and setting this to "No" will automatically add the "unpurchaseable cosmetic overrides" category to the bottom of the page. This means that any new cosmetic that is only available in the Marketplace and not Solomon's General Store will be set to Unpurchaseable.
Another big reason for the change is because of the inconsistency with the current use of Infobox Skin, across the pages you will see differences in words used, especially for the slot and weapon type. One page might have "Off Hand" or "Off hand", another will be "offhand", and some are probably something else entirely. What I have done to resolve this is to take the parameters for these and standardise them so that they will be the same across every page that uses the Infobox Skin template. So for example, whether the editor types "offhand", "oh" or "off", it will display "Off-hand" as the slot. This is also something that can be easily changed/edit by anyone if the need arises in the future as entries can be added and removed from the table.
I have created a lua module that aims to replace the current template and should do a better job at handling things like multiple storefronts (sgs/marketplace) as well as the overall consistency between articles using the template.
Here is the Sandbox Module I wrote, as well as my test page. Feel free to check them out and have a look at the changes that I have made. You can also test this on any current cosmetic override by editing the page and replacing the template header with and clicking preview.
Any feedback/suggestions/comments or anything else is greatly welcomed and appreciated as this is my first lua module and also my first time working with lua.

Support - A Elessar has already said, it's nice that someone else is having a go at creating lua infoboxes. Looks good to me.13:49, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
Support - Always good to see new lua infoboxes. Ensures me learning for when I import it to PT-BR Wiki. I hope one day to be able to update one too :) .21:48, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
