I think the Dungeoneering bosses drop table should be changed, since the equipped they drop is 100% guaranteed, so instead of it saying "Uncommon" have it say "Random*" with * being "The higher leveled the boss is, the better odds of a higher tier drop". ScionCrush 22:19, November 3, 2010 (UTC)

Strong Support - It seems like tier 1-4 equipment is more common anyway; I get more salve and bathus drops than argonite and zephyrium. It does seem like levels have an impact as well; my first katagon drop came from a 200+ boss. As of yet, I haven't got anything above fractite from a <100 boss. Support - As long as we are certain that higher level bosses are more likely to drop higher level items. More specifically, a higher level boss will drop a tier1 item less often than a tier2 item. LordDarkPhantom 14:11, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose - Say that the higher level is likely to drop on the top of dropsline template (use something like {{DropsLine|Dungeoneering=Yes}}). Saying random will not show that primal equipment is much rarer than novite, when it is. bad_fetustalk 16:41, November 5, 2010 (UTC)

No, on higher level teams, large floors etc... Better drops become more common, Odds are if you rush c1 1:1 small and rush Bal'lak you'll have the same chances of getting Novite than getting Primal while doing c6 5:5 large; and getting anything under PROM is difficult on c6 5:5, so thats what the * is, because while drops may be random, rarity of the metal is determined by the settings of the Dungeon. This is why boss drops are to be considerated as "Special" since they arent a roulette like regular drops, they have factors that affect rarity.ScionCrush 23:19, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
Also, as stated above, it will say that higher level bosses drop higher level items more frequently than lower level stuff. I think assigning a certain rarity for each item, disregarding the level of the boss, is pretty wrong. (This is assuming that a higher level boss will drop a tier1 item less often than a tier2 item.) Comment - I think the best solution is to simply say on all dungeoneering boss pages that the boss will drop an item (depending on the boss), but the tier will differ based on the combat level of the boss and the players involved in dungeon. HaloTalk 23:29, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
