There should be old questpoint/skill level requirements included with the new skill requirements. This will help guide makers and new players understand what you actually need to have before attempting a quest. A good a example of this is In Memory of the Myreque andDimension_of_Disaster:_Defender_of_Varrock not having any new skill requirements, but it has a decent amount of previous skill requirements due to the fact there are multiple quests with skill requirements you need to have to start it. There are multiple ways of addressing this, from having a total cumulative level of skills on each quest to having a separate section such as previous quest skill requirements, or ""display previous skill requirements for each quest" which would unhide the quest requirements of each previous quest.

Support For a reader, all requirements are essential information about the quest. I would still like to keep what we have currently separate as it's what is technically the properties of the quest. Would "transitive requirements" be too technical term for the requirements you're suggesting? Adding these should be fairly trivial as the template for them already exists. I think either cumulative, indirect or inherited requirements would convey the meaning best. Alternatively we can have a full phrase like "Cumulative requirements including required content/quests". One thing I noticed looking at that cumulative requirements page is that there is a lot of "able to defeat level X opponent" with some occasional notes. All of those wouldn't be particularly useful on cumulative list and on individual quest pages they duplicate info from Enemies to defeat parameter of Quest details box anyway.Mariobaryla (talk) 11:26, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
Just my 2gp, I think "indirect requirement" is the best term to use. It conveys the meaning best but moreso its a term that is already used heavily around the wiki especially regarding quests, so it's the most likely to be understood. Support "Cumulative requirements" sounds like a good way to phrase it if describing the entire requirements, and "Indirect requirements" to refer to just the requirements of prerequisite quests. IMO I think it should show the direct requirements at top, then Indirect requirements in its own section directly below, omitting any requirements that are lower than the direct requirements for brevity. -- F-Lambda (talk) 01:08, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

Support - Either an expando of indirect skill requirements under the main skill reqs, similar to {{Required for completing}}, or just a direct link to Calculator:Recursive Quest Requirements with the quest name pre-filled similar to the pre-filled perk calc links on Optimal PvM perk setup. Closed - there is support to display requirements for pre-requisite quests in the quest details sections on guides. This should be done by adding a link to Calculator:Recursive Quest Requirements with the player's name pre-filled. Simple wording should be used to explain the nature of the additional requirements - "indirect requirements" seems to be the preferred term from this discussion.
