So, we have MMGs like Money making guide/Killing_Nex:_Angel_of_Death, showing Nex in all her glory, vs Money making guide/Killing abyssal demons which shows a picture of a player killing the abyssal demons. What would be a good way to show this off. Personally, I am liking the monsters just being linked in the article instead of having to upload a new image to the wiki.Bronze dagger.png: RS3 Inventory image of Bronze daggerElven CoreRSDragon dagger.png: RS3 Inventory image of Dragon dagger 21:37, 26 March 2019 (UTC)

Support new image of a player fighting the monster - it fills the space better (the reason we do this on the main page), shows the environment and monster's relative size, and may give players an idea of what equipment to wear. Iiii I I I 21:56, 26 March 2019 (UTC)

Fightin' Image/In-use - Even with recommended gear for it, Gives a good visual for a guide along with actually showcasing the guide in action. Twig Talk 772kZGs.png 22:21, 26 March 2019 (UTC)

Fightin' image - Whilst I think a monster image could work as a placeholder, I think a new in-combat/action image (or an existing one, if reasonably recent/detailed etc.) is preferable. I agree with IIii !III!i i! Ii i and Twig's reasoning above ^^ - Rawny (talk) 22:02, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

Support - The fighting images, good idea. If an MMG has multiples styles that could be used fighting the monster, which style do we choose? Bronze dagger.png: RS3 Inventory image of Bronze daggerElven CoreRSDragon dagger.png: RS3 Inventory image of Dragon dagger 00:20, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

The most profitable one? (I can imagine there might be cases where there's not much difference between the styles and their costs though.) - Rawny (talk) 02:22, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

New images/In-use - Showing the most common/profitable way of killing a monster is a good visual aid for the guides. Personally, I think that some guides could benefit from examples of inventory and gear setups to give players that aren't accustomed to this type of content a place to start. Most people know how a monster or item looks like. The image should give an idea of what the method is like. If a picture exists that conveys that information (like here), it should be used instead of making a new one. Luck of the Dwarves.png XoRMiAS Completionist cape detail.png 20:29, 30 March 2019 (UTC)

Closed - the ideal is for a new "in-action" image to be taken for combat mmgs showing the player fighting the monster, as opposed to reusing other images which are less relevant. Magic logs detail.pngIsobelJTalk page 18:35, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
