For every popular and commonly visited page! Joe Click Here for Awesomeness

We have them, they're called Redirects. Although I'm not a hundred percent thats what your asking/saying. Can you tell me exactly what your trying to say? ço¬Ø 20:22, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Maybe you were looking for [[Template:Popular articles|this]]? Its on the main page. Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 20:26, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Do you mean like [[Template:Shortcut|this]]? All popular articles have shortcuts (for example, Sw redirects to Soul Wars), but few have Template:Shortcut on them. Perhaps we should add more? White partyhat old.png C Teng talk 13:26, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

A shortcut is a particular type of redirect (see RuneScape:Redirecting). In my experience, shortcuts tend to be used for policies under the RS namespace (such as RS:AEAE). The shortcut template should not be used on every page that has a redirect pointing to it, because it's not necessary - for example, Pest Control does not need it, since PC redirects there. Redirects (including shortcuts) should not be linked to in articles. Personally, I never use shortcuts, but if a particular abbreviation is commonly used in-game, then feel free to create a redirect. See also disambiguation and redirection templates, which may be useful. Leevclarke talk Max_logo_mini.png bulldog_puppy.png 16:31, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
I agree that we do not need to put the shortcut template on anything other than RuneScape pages. If you look at What links here for Pest Control, only showing redirects, you can see there are quite a few. Certainly we would not want 15 shortcut templates all over the page. Redirects work as intended to. =) Karlis (talk) (contribs) 16:37, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Well, we would only have one shortcut box. Put Shortcut: Sw on the page. I'm neutral on this discussion. White partyhat old.png C Teng talk 16:40, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
