Hello, I am proposing to semi-protect all GEMW Price pages (i.e., Exchange:Yew logs), so that IP Addresses cannot edit them. IP Addresses tend to do more harm than good on these pages and they should be protected. Though this will take some work to pull off, but I think the work of this will be less effort than constantly reverting edits to the pages (and one of us could even program a bot to do it, I think) and warning/blocking IP Addresses for only edits to these pages. These pages are frequently targets for vandalism and this could lower vandalism greatly in general. Please tell me what you think, ~~Signed,Bulbear4444Slayer's respite.png~~ 13:33, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

Strong Oppose - First of all, RS:AEAE. IP editors should also be equal. Also, RS:AGF, you have to assume that they aren't harming the wiki and if you ask me, they really aren't, as most of them do update them correctly. bad_fetustalk 13:36, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

Strong Oppose - Way too much time spent to accomplish that+what Chess said. HaloTalk 13:37, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

Support - I mostly trust bot edits to the GEMW. willwill Talk 13:48, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

Strong oppose - We have to assume good faith. Most of the edits by IP's are constructive edits. We cannot go against the basic principle of wiki philosophy (that it is a place where anyone may contribute) simply because a few vandals give all IP's a bad name. --LiquidTalk 14:01, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

Huge Oppose - This is ridiculous, most of the GEMW edits are made by IPs and alot of the time it's very good edits.   Swizz Talk   Events!   14:11, May 2, 2010 (UTC)
