Hello, I would like to request local operator rights in our countervandalism channel. I am familiar with Wikia's rules, the local rules, the chat rules and also with CVN's rules as I am active on 3 other CVN channels. I would like to use it for when a operator is needed in the channel and there is no operator active. Best regards, TBloemink 21:54, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

I have no idea what that is, but I suspect you would have to pass some sort of community referral scheme first, which, given your edit count and account age, is highly unlikely, regardless of your experience on other sites What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 21:56, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

Also, Oppose as like Liquid and I have said, you're new and unknown here What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 22:30, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

Oppose - I'm sorry, but I've never even seen you before. You should come here more frequently and make yourself known to the community; else, we can't entrust you with the extra tools you requested. I should also comment that the CVN channel doesn't really need more operators at the present time, considering that it's a channel intended for a bot to talk in most of the time. Users hang out in #wikia-runescape, which is another channel I'd recommend you frequent if you want op rights. --LiquidTalk 22:04, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

FYI, He is in #wikia-runescape all the time he is in #cvn-wikia-runescape. JOEYTJE50TALKpull my finger 22:59, March 18, 2011 (UTC)
I don't think I've ever seen his name around before. Does he go into the IRC under a different name? --LiquidTalk 01:32, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
No, they use that name. I've seen him/her in the channel but hardly ever speaking. sssSp7p.pngIjLCqFF.png 01:33, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

Question - When is an op needed in that channel? ʞooɔ 01:57, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

My understanding, as I stated above, is that it's just a channel for the Starnes bot to inanely ramble in. Besides that, there really is no need for human involvement. Heck, the channel could be muted and everything would still run fine. --LiquidTalk 01:58, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
From my experience in the channel the only use for an op is to kick annoying/spam users (which has only happened once that I have seen) and to kick a secondary cvn bot, which I think has been fixed. ʞooɔ 02:01, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

I guess it's too early to request this. Nothing to do about it. I'll have this closed - TBloemink 09:22, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

Closed - Request withdrawn. Suppa chuppa Talk 09:24, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
