I had this idea of adding the quest icon to the title of a quest navbox.

Currently it's like this:

And what I suggest is:

Pros:

  • Recognition as a quest nav.

Cons:

  • Increases the height of the navbox.
  • Some quests don't have an icon.

Any thoughts?

Discussion

Oppose - Nice in theory, but the increased height of the navbox (and perhaps that it'd only be on one side and that the icons are chunky and square) would bug me too much Star Talk ayy lmao ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 15:05, October 17, 2015 (UTC)

Comment - True, that's why I put it here first. Farming-icon.png Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 15:14, October 17, 2015 (UTC)

Oppose - In general, text is better for everything, unless you're specifically targeting an audience that can't read with a graphic that's universally recognizable. Neither of those conditions apply here. In a graphical interface, a subsidiary reason might be "because it looks cool," which is also not true, although more subjective. --Saftzie (talk) 20:50, October 17, 2015 (UTC)

Oppose - Looks terrible with the increased height, especially among other navboxes. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 09:14, October 19, 2015 (UTC)

Oppose - Trying to add a picture in every possible place isn't a good idea. 5-x Talk 22:44, October 19, 2015 (UTC)

Close please - It was just a thought, and as I see that no one likes it, I'd suggest to close this thread. Farming-icon.png Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 06:59, October 20, 2015 (UTC)
