1) Granularise cosmetic override pages as we've increasingly been doing in recent years: one page for each wardrobe entry. This allows for proper and extensive categorisation of each override.

2) Granularise cosmetic override and worn equipment images: one image for each cosmetic/item, in addition to having full outfit images.

3) Upload male and female override/equipment images even when the difference is minimal. While our image policy doesn't explicitly disallow this, the common practice seems to be to only upload both images when there is a somewhat noticeable difference.

A) This part is for gathering feedback on the appearance of cosmetic override image sections. {{Databox Cosmetic override}} has been created to move cosmetic override images from regular galleries into their own section and template akin to "Combat stats" on equipment pages. See examples here. Some things we could do is show a link to the category in the "Type" field, integrate a component table for outfits (instead of a regular "The set contains:" list: see Special:Diff/35510121), etc.

Support - I completely agree with all 3. Farming-icon.png Salix (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 23:16, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Support - Big support for granularity of everything. zTUG5mD.png Crow  23:29, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Support - For all of them. The way we currently do this doesn't allow to make any sort of dynamic lists or even just categories for each slot as a lot of cosmetics are arbitrarily lumped onto one page. Having images for both male and female characters will make it more consistent across pages and allow to track what is missing easier, plus currently it's not even clear if lack of other gender means it's the same or just not uploaded. Databox is cool, although if we make a page for each part of the outfit, then it would be basically doubling on the infobox? The only issue is the amount of work and lack of proper model viewer that would allow us to generate images easily, but that's not really a reason not to do it, just that it would be a very long-term project - but all the more reason to start sooner rather than later. Support - Big support for documenting cosmetic overrides more completely in this way. There is interest in users in the images particularly and the current infobox for overrides doesn't allow for us to track missing ones accurately. It's a big job to take all the images but hopefully something we can work together on, maybe with OSWF. Magic logs detail.pngIsobelTalk page 11:49, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

Support - As someone who has brought this up in Discord a few times, I agree with all of the proposed changes. As for the feedback on the appearance, something as simple as User:BlackHawk/sandbox18 would do a good job of displaying the set pieces. This could either be as a standalone table or added as part of {{Databox Cosmetic override}}. Lava hawk.png BlackHawk (Talk)    12:14, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

Support All - Makes sense to track it at a more granular level, and there's interest from the fashionscape community in seeing the images. Lot of work, but helpful if implemented. Smithing.pngHephaestus talkCrafting.png 17:33, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Support - Certain override sets can be quite tricky to visualise the borders of where one adjacend piece starts and the other ends, it's important to make this very clear. Nephr (talk) 03:20, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
