I've noticed that quick guides for the former area task sets a.k.a. the current subcategories of the Exploration achievements are one of the following:

  • They didn't exist (I just created the pages so all of them have a quick guide, but they're currently stubs)
  • They are divided into areas
  • They are divided by difficulty level (easy, medium, hard, elite)

What I'd like to ask you all, would it make more sense to make them all:

  1. Area-oriented (example)
  2. Difficulty-oriented (example)
  3. Depend on the set of achievements to make them either

I'd prefer to have one style to keep it consistent.

Conflicted / not #3 - Only thing I'm sure of is that it should be one of the two styles, but which one, I haven't decided yet. Farming-icon.png Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 18:17, June 13, 2018 (UTC)

#2, the below messages convinced me to choose option #2 as well. Farming-icon.png Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) Prifddinas lodestone icon.png 19:56, June 13, 2018 (UTC)

Number 2 - As I see it, most people go through the "old" achievement by difficulty and not by location of the task(s), so I think the quick guides should reflect that. And in my opinion it looks more structured that way too. Srylius (talk) 18:41, June 13, 2018 (UTC)

#2 - The game requires you to complete the achievement sets in order if you wish to claim the rewards (For instance the rewards from the easy achievements must be claimed before you can claim the rewards for the medium achievements) so it'd make the most sense to sort them per difficulty.
Sorting the achievements by their difficulty will also make it easier for the user to see if they have the required stats and items. If a non-maxed or medium levelled player tried using a quick guide using format #1 they'd likely have to skip various tasks due to not meeting the skill requirements, essentially making the layout pointless. Closed - There hasn't been a lot of active discussion on this thread, but I think there's consensus for making quick guides for achievements difficulty-oriented. This also follows our style on the actual task set pages. jayden 13:28, June 22, 2018 (UTC)
