Am I the only one who feels having accounts which make someone sound like something they're not ("The Wiki", "The Wikia" amongst others) in the clan chat is a problem? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 11:50, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Uh, you misspelled "Impersonating." And I don't think they would cause much trouble. They aren't saying something like "I am from central wiki, do this or that because I told you to" or something. Just what I think. Santa hat.png Powers38 おはようヾ(´・ω・`) 11:54, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Same. Runecrafting.gif Mo 55 55 Talk|Sign 11:57, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

I think I agree with Powers. Besides, as long as they aren't ranked then they don't really look like they are in authority at all. That's what most people say to newcomers looking for admins anyways - "the ones with ranks." It might be annoying that they are there, but because of the CC rules, there's no reason to kick or ban unless they do something wrong. Christine 12:02, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Can we please stop saying "Because of the CC rules"? The rules are half a ton of manure anyway, and it's irrelevant since I'm proposing a change to them. I also fail to see why we can't kick people for being deliberately annoying. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:06, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
We have the ignore list.... Santa hat.png Powers38 おはようヾ(´・ω・`) 12:08, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
The ignore list is not a good way to resolve this. By that argument, you might as well derank everyone and tell people to use the ignore list on everyone who deserves to be kicked. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:11, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
You never said they were being annoying. If they are doing something kick-worthy then by all means, kick them. Christine 12:13, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
They're being annoying by creating accounts deliberately designed to make them sound like they're the wiki. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:18, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Anyone with two brain cells knows it's not possible to "be" the wiki. Christine 12:23, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
So deliberately attempting to be annoying is okay, as long as you don't succeed? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:24, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
How are they being deliberately annoying? I'm not there so tell me what they are doing and maybe I will support you... Christine 12:26, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Trying to be. Exactly what other purpose does such a name have? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:27, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Note also that I'm highly doubtful that these are "main" accounts. Why can't they just chat with their real account? Why hide behind sockpuppetry? They also refuse to say who they are. Eh, that wasn't as clear as I intended...if they were to get kicked they wouldn't miss out on much. The accounts are made purely for this CC, or to be a title for their own, so if they get kicked they just have to switch back to their main...So it's hardly a problem for them. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:29, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Comment - I think most of the chats with "wiki" or "wikia" in their name were created in the hopes of theirs becoming the "backup" clan chat.  Tien  12:31, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

No, there are two players in the CC with the name "The wiki" and "The wikia" Santa hat.png Powers38 おはようヾ(´・ω・`) 12:32, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Tien's point still stands. I think that was the point of making them... Christine 12:35, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Isn't there two other CCs as backup? Like RS wiki and RS wikia? Or something similar? Santa hat.png Powers38 おはようヾ(´・ω・`) 12:38, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
If true, they aren't game-playing accounts and they're using them purely for the amusement to be found in being in the CC with such a name. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:37, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't think there's actually an official backup clan chat.  Tien  12:45, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
....So? If they aren't doing anything wrong then who cares? =\ Christine 12:49, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Apparently, no-one. I was just checking that point. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:52, 17 July 2009 (UTC) edit: I wasn't agreeing with the statement that they "aren't doing anything wrong". JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 12:59, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

I recommend that we just ban these two accounts by kicking them when they come in (not the ignore list) but not ban the users that use them. Also, what do we do about the symbol user? He was banned by Azaz for having an unacceptable username. Do we set him up with a new account and transfer the information on his userpage? please not that the wikia and the swastika guy are the same person, for those who do not already know. Magic-icon.pngStelercusIlluminated Book of Balance.png 16:53, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

I'd love to ban them, but apparently, no-one agrees. No opinion on Swastika, he isn't relevant to the CC (I tend to avoid site-based discussion). If he's capable of asking, then he's welcome to make a new account, though. He's capable of transferring everything himself. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 16:58, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
He already has an alternate account.-- 16:59, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Better yet, let's just kick everyone without a userpage. Now that's a throwing weapon!Doucher4000******r4000I'll eat you! 17:12, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Why? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 17:21, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I believe that was intended as sarcasm. By the way, The Wikia is the swastika guy if you didn't know. Andrew talk 17:39, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I didn't know. I'll ignore the sarcasm unless D4K feels like being productive. What's Swastika's alternate account? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 17:44, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I honestly have no idea. Andrew talk 17:46, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
This is his account.-- 17:53, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
He also said on his talk page that he forgot the password/email and can't use it. Christine 00:49, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Comment - I had no idea the symbol was a swastika. it showed up as a box on my computer. Magic-icon.pngStelercusIlluminated Book of Balance.png 18:33, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
