I've noticed several images have been uploaded of various NPCs as they appear at the Heimland Games. These images have been placed in articles of their respective characters. In addition to that, their examine information (which varries slightly at the Heimland Games) has been integrated into the infobox. All together, this creates a mess of Christmas information which has little relevance to the article. Yes, we are a wiki, we are supposed to document everything; however, what use is knowing what the little hat Thok wore to the Heimland Games looks like? Trick question, there isn't. Look at the following examples: Thok, Wartface, Sir Amic Varze.

With all that said, I propose that from this point forward, unique examine information, chatheads, and other images in respects to holiday events be kept on the article for that holiday event. Furthermore, any additional details on that NPC during the event should be kept to a minimum on their articles at the editor's discretion. Support- You're right: it may be better to put those pictures at the pages of the holiday event and not at pages of the NPC's. Otherwise everything will be messed up again when there's another holiday event. Divination.png Xsdvd Talk Duellist's cap (tier 1).png 16:30, December 26, 2010 (UTC)
Oppose - I don't really see how multiple images in an infobox are problematic. These NPCs got two. Look at the infobox for ogre. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 16:36, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

I see it this way: if the article says he's been at the Games, viewers would like to know how he looked. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 17:09, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Meh. It's not too messy, but I see your point. Do whatever, as long as the info stays on the wiki. Real Mad 16:45, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Support - It will look stupid after the Christmas event finishes. Hunter cape (t).png Sentra246Blue hallowe'en mask.png 05:57, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Comment - How about a page of NPC images/chatheads and examines at something like 2010 Chrismas event/NPCs? That'll keep both parties happy? LordDarkPhantom 10:16, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

That's equally possible. The point of this proposal is just to get them off the main articles and on to a holiday article. Magic-icon.pngStelercusIlluminated Book of Balance.png 13:11, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, it'd be far neater since we can make a table. Want to be bold and do it? LordDarkPhantom 13:16, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
That would defeat the purpose of this proposal. Magic-icon.pngStelercusIlluminated Book of Balance.png 13:59, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Support - It'll look stupid... oh wait, its been said twice already. 222 talk 10:47, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Support - per Halo. -- 12:08, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Closed - Stelercus's proposal will be implemented. Holiday-exclusive information about various NPC's, locations, items, et cetera, should be kept to a minimum on the main article, and should instead be mentioned on the article about the holiday event. --LiquidTalk 04:00, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
