As of the update to the combat beta on 7 March 2014, the combat levels have changed again, back to something resembling the old 138 combat formula. Monster levels in the beta servers have changed accordingly. We need to get on top of this, so that when the changes are made to the RS3 servers, we are not lagging behind and scrambling to get combat levels updated once more.

There are two ways I can see of doing this.

  1. Add an extra parameter to Template:Infobox monster for the beta combat levels. (Proposed in chat by Mol)
  2. Make a page somewhere, either a talk page or in someone's userspace, to make a list of updated combat levels for adding to pages when the level formula is changed in RS3.

1 - I think one is definitely the most efficient, mainly for the reason Ty mentioned. The change can be made instantly across all pages in that way, and we won't have to deal with userspaces and talkpages, but just with the template where the data is supposed to be. 1 - Also worth noting that monster combat levels are very much subject to change, ATM the majority of monsters have levels based on the player combat formula, while high-profile bosses have insane levels (Level 10,000 Vorago, anyone?)
