I'm not sure when this happened, but I'm just now noticing that we no longer have full width in the File: namespace. Because of this, the right column now overlaps over wide images and crushes the text in the revision table. To remedy this, I would like to request that Wikia once again allow us to have full width pages in the File: namespace.

Support & Comment - It would be preferred if we were to make it full width, but extremely unlikely. The only way we can make it full width is by marking the namespace as "non-content", which Wikia are probably not going to allow. We were already pushing it with things like "Calculator:" and "Portal:", stating they were non-content. If you can do it, get rid of the small width. But it's unlikely. Support - That's not really a content namespace anyway since it's more of just a place we store our images, not give information to our viewers. Hunter cape (t).png Sentra246Blue hallowe'en mask.png 08:35, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

Support - While I won't notice the difference here, due to my CSS, I noticed it a short while ago on the COD Wiki. Wikia needs to stop adding adverts everywhere they can (looks at the Wikia Anchor on the toolbar.) Ryan PM 15:37, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

I have the same, but in incognito/private browsing/other names you can still see what it'd look like as an IP(might be useful for the next time this kind of things happen). JOEYTJE50TALKpull my finger 15:51, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

Commet - What do you mean? Both images are shown perfectly fine in full size on in the file: namespace... User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 16:01, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry guys, but the way the Right Hand Rail system is set up in a way that it does not allow us to turn off the rail on only one namespace. And at this time, tampering with it via CSS is not allowed. We are looking in to ways to make the thumbnail logic work better on File pages to avoid the collision between the thumbnail and the rail, but the rail has shown via click-tracking to be a very, very useful tool that draws in new users and thus it is critical it stay. --daNASCAT (help forum | blog) 17:13, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

I would have thought ya'll would use another bit of the popout class to clear that up as another solution. Anyway, that's sad we will still have overlapping with the WikiaRail. Ryan PM 17:22, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

How can that be true? We requested that the rail be removed from the Portal: namespace, and that [[Portal:Fishing|was done]] with no problems. The rail causes the same issues in the File: as it did in the Portal: namespace, encroaching over content that requires the full page width. --Aburnett(Talk) 20:16, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Portal was a non-content NS, and all non-content NSes did not have the rail for a long time, but the decision was made to add the rail to specific non-content NS, including file, and that is hardcoded in to the system. --daNASCAT (help forum | blog) 19:43, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
Fair enough. I would like to add, however, that I strongly disagree with this change and think it's quite absurd that a long-standing community such as ours has no say in even simple changes such as this. --Aburnett(Talk) 20:26, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

Closed - Changes cannot not be implemented at this time. --Aburnett(Talk) 20:26, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
