Forum:Front page poll not working in Firefox
I have Firefox 64.0 (64 bit) for Windows 10, and when I clicked on the front page poll about RS resolutions, the poll did not show the results. When I used Chrome on the same computer, the poll showed the results after voting. I had the dark theme set to auto at the time. Feenix Libra (talk) 15:46, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting us know. I can see some clunkiness in Chrome 70 where it takes 2 clicks for the radio button to be correctly highlighted. The text above the poll seems to think the vote has been submitted before the radio button. I saw a similar issue on FF 64 although only after refreshing the page. The first time the page loaded, it was as if the click handlers weren't being registered because selecting the option didn't display the results. I refreshed the page to check the network requests being sent and then observed it working in the described way.
- I've opened an issue for the sysadmins to look at. I know we've had some issues with it recently, so I'd guess it's one of many issues the poll code has. cqm talk 11:05, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
Closed - There's not much that can be done from here with this. For progress, see the issue linked in my previous comment, although note that it may take some time to resolve. cqm talk 17:05, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
