I have started [[Faq|this]] page, for faq's about rs. I think it would be a good contribution to the wiki, but would need alot of work. So please help it, and we could have another useful feature on the wiki.Joe Click Here for Awesomeness16:04, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Looks like a good idea, however it needs some work - the many many many pages created do not help if I want to edit a bunch of items at once, and some of them may well never have any FAQs (what is there to ask about iron armour/weapons?). Merge all the pages together so you have FAQ/Combat, FAQ/Skills (which could be broken down further to FAQ/Skills/Production Skills, FAQ/Skills/Manufacturing Skills, etc, if needed), FAQ/Monsters, FAQ/Quests and FAQ/Players (which could cover things like the official forums, player submissions, J-, P- and F-mods). If needed, the pages could be broken down into Free-to-play and members pages, but not until they get pretty large. A lot of them have wording and factual errors (e.g. it stated the dragon platebody could not be worn until after WGS, this is not true). I'd also capitalise the page names.
This could easily be a WikiGuild. I'd be willing to help out. 18:46, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Sounds like a good idea for a page. Before this get too for, I suggest moving the page from "Faq" to "FAQ", just a nit picky thing, but I wanted to mention it. Also, as with most FAQ's, the format is usually, question and answer. Such as, "how do I do such and such" with the answer being "well go do this first, etc and by the way here the link to the relevant mainspace page (important)". I think this would be helpful for people looking to get quick answers.22:24, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Joe has now proposed this as a WikiGuild. Feel free to come join in the fun here! 23:11, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds interesting. I may do a bit of work on them if I get the chance. 12:29, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
