Gosh it's been a while, I've nearly forgotten how to propose something...well here it goes:

I'm proposing (as the title states) to place a facebook like button linked to our wiki page ( It would look like this: It would be situated on the sidebar, probably the bottom of it. It would help bring traffic to the page, because we all know way more than 453 people like the wiki :D. scoot4.pngscooties 22:59, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Oppose - The sidebar is full enough already. Wikia is already spamming us with way too many things. Also, is the fb account still active? If not, we should first get it active again, and then consider advertising it. What I see (without facebook account, dunno if that affects it) is a couple of artefact'y logos of the runescape wiki and even an extremely obsolete monaco instruction image. I don't think it's a good idea advertising that to the users. JOEYTJE50TALKpull my finger 23:23, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Note - We currently post about once per 4-6 weeks. That is the answer to how active we are.--Degenret01 23:33, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Are we a social networking site or an online encyclopedia of information for RuneScape? --Andorin (Talk) (Contribs) 19:13, May 7, 2011 (UTC)

Note - There was a facebook like button next to the logout button but it seems to have been removed What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 15:04, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

I do believe that was either for: connecting your Wikia and Facebook accounts (Special:Connect), or for liking the specific page (appears in your Facebook feed) - certainly not for liking the RuneScape wiki Facebook page itself. Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 15:17, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Closed - The button will not be implemented. Suppa chuppa Talk 20:33, May 13, 2011 (UTC)
