Forum:External links in a new tab?
I think it's better to open links in a new tab/window. When I visit the Wikia and I click on an external link it's very hatefull that I need to re-open the wiki. For example when I read a skill guide or a quest guide it would be easier.

Oppose - just use whatever shortcut your browser has to open links in a new tab. It's shift+click if you're using chrome.15:02, May 12, 2016 (UTC)

Comment - Most (all) desktop browsers have middle mouse button bound to open in new tab in the same window (also ctrl-click). You could also use shift-click for new tab in a new window. Mobile browsers you generally hold on the link to get the context menu, which usually includes 'open in new tab'. Do you have any actual proposal or do you now know how to use your browser?15:15, May 12, 2016 (UTC)
- Comment - I didn't know it for the middle mouse button. :o And on a mobile, it takes a few seconds, and most of the time I don't want to wait and copy the link and open a new tab myself. -- 15:19, May 12, 2016 (UTC)
Closed - The requesting user now knows how their browser works, and the requested behavior should no longer be necessary.16:21, May 12, 2016 (UTC)
