Today, i found something confusing:

Credit is given to you as the uploader of the image in the image history, and the names of the RuneScape accounts involved are irrelevant.

If you are uploading files to the wiki, you should cite the source of the file, attribute the authors

So the IMP says you should not give credits, but the ©R page says you should give credits... What should be done in file descriptions?

Comment - IMP and COPY are two different scenarios, right? --中亚人/中亞人 (Chinasian/Jeffwang16) 跟我谈话 14:10, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Comment - Credit is automatically given to you as the uploader of the image in the image history and the name of whatever characters are in the picture don't matter is what IMP is saying, and COPY is saying that if you did not take the picture yourself you must provide where you obtained the file and the original author of it. Jeff is right, they're two different scenarios. Pretty much if you take a picture that has a few players in it and upload it, its not necessary to credit all the players in the picture. But if you find a picture off google and decide to upload it, you have to credit the original author. — Enigma 16:23, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Comment - These are cfompletely different. IMP is for in-wiki usage, and COPY is for usage outside the wiki. bad_fetustalk 16:43, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure this forum thread has accomplished it's goal --中亚人/中亞人 (Chinasian/Jeffwang16) 跟我谈话 18:42, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Although this is not allowed per Forum:Have you ever seen the snow?, i agree per RS:UCS. I thought it was both about the same. JOEYTJE50TALKpull my finger 19:43, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
