Construction may not have had many updates over the years but it has expanded somewhat to being not just about the player-owned house.

{{POH license}} therefore seems outdated.

I propose that we change this to a general license (Template:Construction) which would automatically add Category:Construction images to any image using it (the current license adds Category:Construction built images, despite being used on many image which are not objects built in the POH). We could then improve the license by making it have a type field (like {{Chathead license}} to further categorise the images. I would suggest the types:

Icon > Category:Construction icons

Currently there is also Category:Furniture images but this seems to largely be an overlap of Category:Construction built images, and I'm not sure why the distinction between "furniture" and everything else. Unless anyone can explain I would suggest deleting this category. Magic logs detail.pngIsobelJTalk page 20:37, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

Edit: Having started to standardise the naming of Construction icons/built images - I realised that the current naming policy for "skill specific icons" is to use <name> icon. However, inventory icons and more recently pet icons have moved away from this naming standard. There are therefore a couple of options for naming:

Icons:
A - <item name> icon
B - <item name>

Built images:
A - <item name>
B - <item name> built

In any case the addition of icons to a Construction license would be unnecessary as all skill icons are covered by {{Skill icon license}}, so I have removed that from my proposal. Magic logs detail.pngIsobelJTalk page 21:53, 5 January 2020 (UTC)

Support - Construction images are desperately in need of restructuring, which this will provide. I still think having a category for room images such as File:Dining room.png would be appropriate, even if said category would only have something like 30~ images total. iN008talk 20:42, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

I like this idea. Magic logs detail.pngIsobelJTalk page 21:53, 5 January 2020 (UTC)

Support - I am with IN about a Room category for those images alongside these proposed. Jakesterwars (talk) 20:56, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

Comment - Leaning towards option A for icons and A for built images, to keep consistency with other skill icon naming. The other skill icons that are present on the wiki are Prayer, Runecrafting, Agility. Thieving, Slayer, and Hunter. I'm not sure it's feasible for those to be moved to allow the icon image to not have the _icon suffix - for most of those the "main" image is an NPC, and having to move that to accommodate the icon image taking the name would create a displeasing amount of inconsistency. Therefore it seems that having all the skill icons use the <item name> icon format would allow for most consistency in naming overall. Support - Looks good to me. Regarding item naming formats, I'm leaning towards A for both due to Isobel's comment on this being consistent with other skills.

While this subject is being covered, I was wondering if we want the current location of the item icons on the page to be changed? Right now, they're in their own entry in the infobox, with the main image being the built item. I wouldn't mind their location being that of where DII's would normally go, as that's where, for example, hunter creatures have their icon images. Closed - I'm going to go ahead and implement the license and image naming as I proposed. Magic logs detail.pngIsobelJTalk page 22:02, 15 January 2020 (UTC)
