Hey there, as many people know when there is a problem on the wiki or in R S Wikia players will start a fight and make the cc unpleasant for everyone. Well I have found a solution to the problem.

From now on if you disagree or have a problem with anyone in the R S Wikia cc please go to rswcc rants. Here if you have a problem or want to spam and troll another player you can without worry of being kicked. Only I can kick in this cc.

Like i said I made this because when players do arguments in the wiki clan chat it is always unenjoyable.

So come on down to rumble but remember to leave bad feelings in rswcc

uggh damn it you have to type in bur0k 0bama to join the cc

Statement - I dont think this will work. Twig Talk 772kZGs.png 23:28, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Strong Oppose - Condoning ranting and arguments is one of the worst things we could do. 222 talk 23:48, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Uhhh maybe you miss misunderstood, the idea is we don't condone ranting and arguments in R S Wikia as it makes the cc unenjoyable for everyone, instead we just take it else where, i.e. rswcc rants --Turok Obama 00:20, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

I understood. I'm fine if you make it a private CC but telling ranters to go there with support from the Wiki is tantamount to condoning ranting, IMO. 222 talk 00:31, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Closed - CC discussions are banned from the Yew Grove. You are welcome to copy and paste/restart this forum at RST:CC, but not here. Chicken7 >talk 00:38, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

If it's not a problem I have just moved it there. 222 talk 00:54, August 14, 2010 (UTC)
That's fine. Chicken7 >talk 01:03, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Not needed - Arguments or heated discussions in the CC are unavoidable - someone always has an opinion on if something is better than something else, or not. If someone is getting close to flaming they have a few choices:

  1. Chill out and talk it out calmly in the CC
  2. Take it to the user in question's PM or talk page, or to RS:CCF for a larger group - again, requires cooling off
  3. Drop it, maybe leave the CC for a short while to cool off
  4. Enjoy their forced hour out of our CC

Yeah, I agree that sometimes it can get unpleasant, but this isn't the answer. If you're the only uncomfortable one, its your responsibility to add the ranter to your ignore list and/or leave the CC. If its a good handful of people, its their responsibility to let the ranks know and the ranks' responsibility to attempt to resolve the dispute, possibly with use of warnings and kicks.

We don't need another empty clan chat in our name. Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 01:06, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Pity there were no ranks on Thursday, Australia time. 222 talk 01:09, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose - When you're having trouble with someone in the clan chat, you aren't supposed to keep it up and make matters worse between the two of you. Like Gaz said, stop or try to resolve it.  Tien  01:15, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Strong Oppose Per 222. We don't want rants, we want problems to be resolved quickly, yet thoroughly. If this can't be done in sufficient peace and time in CC, that's what this forum section is (partially) for. melonWatermelon slice.png 05:09, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Closed - This is just lunacy. There is no consensus to do anything like this, and the main channel will continue to be used. Everyone will still be expected to follow those rules. HaloTalk 19:08, August 14, 2010 (UTC)
