Forum:Clan Chat forum
So lately, as I'm sure many of you are aware, the Clan Chat Forum has been pretty much dead. Multiple threads have been closed simply due to a lack of activity, and lately the forum's just been gathering dust. Therefore, to ensure that some kind of consensus is always reached, and some sort of conclusion is always implemented, I propose that the more important threads from the forum (such as clan cape designs, clan forums, and changes to kick policies) be brought up on the Yew Grove . All other issues, such as kick appeals, de-ranking, banning users, etc. should continue to be brought up as usual in the Clan forum. This whole idea is, of course, completely open to change and fine-tuning, but I really feel that having to close a thread without coming to any form of verdict, purely due to a halted conversation, is just not good enough. Thanks for reading!
So, yeah. Discuss.
Comment - Obviously I don't want them in a dead forum, but I don't know where else we can put them. An alternative, of course, would be to try and revive the forum, but that tends to only work out as a short-term solution. The whole point of this thread is to get that forum moving again, and not to allow discussions to dry up. If you can think of a better way to do this, then let's hear it. Comment - Just so you know, plenty of threads in the Yew Grove have been closed because of a lack of discussion. It really is nothing new. Also, I dislike trying to gauge threads by "importance", it can be rather subjective. 222 talk 00:03, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
Comment - Of course, but we can't really move threads such as kick appeals to the Yew Grove, so we'd have to have some sort of streamlining system. Discussions relating to closing the channel or changing the name have already been deemed more "important" than others, so I don't see why we couldn't add a few to that list, in order to ensure that they're properly dealt with. Again, the entire idea is simply to get things done, and to preferably keep the forum active, but for smaller issues. Ronan Talk 09:26, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
