Forum:AotM - Merging Support and Oppose sections
Recently, the instructions on how to nominate an article for Article of the Month were changed to say that there should be split "Support" and "Oppose" sections. I am proposing to remove that instruction and just have the supports and opposes mixed again. Why?
Because now it is harder to react to what someone said, because you have to check another section and stuff - it's annoying to have to edit one section to react to someone, then another so support/oppose, etc...
Also, it might be confusing for new users - it now seems as if we count votes, instead of trying to reach consensus.
And did it need to be changed in the first place?
Comment + Support It was done by a user that I do not wish to name, but it was done most likely as an accident, as they listed the nomination on the page itself. No one realized it didn't belong, so it has stuck and become part of the process. LKJRYrwojy 07:07, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Seriously man? You don't wish to name but you wish to draw attention to it so everyone will go review the history until they find it? Next time, just don't even mention it at all if you truly don't wish to draw attention to it.--Degenret01 00:42, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
Support - Not a good idea...07:09, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
Comment If it happened the way Rwojy said then just go fix it, this does not require a YG thread.--Degenret01 00:42, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
