Foot Soldiers are one of the units in Conquest. They are a good and cheap way to hold a position, being resilient defensive troops. Their damage, however, is not up to the same standards as Knights or Champions, and they can be easily overcome in a one to one attack by a stronger unit. Ergo these are best emloyed to protect vulnerable units such as archers or just to be there, to have an extra unit. And yet most good players dismiss them as being "slow and useless", as do a lot of playing strategies.
