Fish Miller was a taxidermist, who had great skill in his profession, yet had few visitors or custom. All of his creations were very life-like, except for the eyes, which were made out of glass. One day, Safia entered his shop to get out of the rain, during which they conversed. She started coughing due to the heaviness of dust in the shop. She asked for a glass of water, which he refused by moving the glass away from her. He showed her a mirror, revealing that he had turned her into one of his creations, and claimed he had also done so to her children.
He appears in the story Wool.
