Fiery brimstone is a type of soil that is found while excavating at the Infernal Source Dig Site which can be accessed with level 20 Archaeology.
It can be screened at level 20 Archaeology to obtain materials and rarely artefacts from it at the screening station at the Archaeology Campus. Screening fiery brimstone yields 1 Archaeology experience each from level 20 to 37, which increases to 3 experience each from level 38 to 70, 5 experience each from level 71 to 92, 12 experience each from level 93 to 110 and 20 experience each from level 111 to 120.
The items below can only be obtained if the player has the required Archaeology level for them. The average value of each successfully obtained material at level 81 or above is 4,102; the average value from each soil is lower, however, as materials are not obtained from every soil screened.
- ^ a b c d e f g h i j k l m Only on successfully obtaining a material. The chance changes with the player's Archaeology level. Value here is approximation at level 120 Archaeology.
A specific artefact will only be received with an Archaeology level equal to or higher than the artefact restoration level. There is a 1/1,000 chance to obtain any artefact while screening soil.[1] As there are 31 possible artefacts, the chance of obtaining a specific artefact is 1/31,000 when all level requirements are met.
