The Fenghuang Feathers are a collection of feathers said to have been plucked from great sky orphan leaders, and imbued with their power. They are said to give the person who possesses them the power of flight and the ability to control sky orphans. They rest inside Haka-su, a sky orphan temple on a mountain near The Pearl Fortress.

During The Tengu's story in the Player-owned port minigame, they are stolen by Benkei and Kakashi, who planned to use them to raise an army to kill all the seasingers in the Wushanko Isles. With the help of a reformed Benkei, The Tengu is able to retrieve them from Kakashi.
