A small animal pen showing available farmhands

A farmhand can aid players at their player-owned farm. Each pen can have up to 3 farmhands. Hiring a farmhand from the Farmers' Market is permanent. Players can allocate which farmhand is assigned to which pen by right clicking a paddock's gate and clicking on a tab called farmhands where the possible farmhands for that pen will be shown.

Jobs[edit | edit source]

  • Babysitters are farmhands that can be assigned to a pen to ensure that animals will not age beyond the adolescent stage. See below for which of the eight babysitters can be assigned to which size of pen. To allow an animal to age further to adult stage, remove the animal or the babysitter from the pen. To swap babysitters, place the new one in before removing the old one to avoid extra fees for existing animals. Babysitters charge their beans shortly after the animal has been placed into the pen, regardless of whether the animal happens to grow at that time or not. Babysitters don't prevent animals from growing from adult to elder stage; they only prevent growth from adolescent to adult.
  • Collectors are farmhands that store and convert excess animals from a full breeding pen into unchecked versions. There is currently only one collector.
  • Trappers are farmhands who can obtain random unchecked versions of animals for the player once every 6 hours. There is currently only one trapper.

      • There are three different types of farmhand available:
        • Babysitter Farmhands
        • Collector Farmhands
