The farmer's cuffs are a reward from Cabbage Facepunch Bonanza that boosts Farming experience by 1%. Wearing all five pieces of the farmer's outfit will give 1% bonus experience in addition to the 5% from the individual pieces, for a total of 6%.

From 9 May 2014 to 12 May 2014 23:59 UTC, it was possible to make farmer's cuffs by combining 100 magic beans and leather scraps. The completed farmer's cuffs were later added as a possible reward from Treasure Hunter. It was removed from Treasure Hunter following the 27 September 2021 update.

Wearing these now gives you the ability to harvest cave nightshade without taking damage.
