Event mystery boxes are rewards from various events. It was first introduced during the Birth by Fire event, and subsequently returned in other seasonal events with altered drop tables. It can be opened for a random selection of rewards, and it is destroyed upon opening.

Birth by Fire[edit | edit source]

During the Birth by Fire event, the box is awarded for turning in 4,000 burning embers to the Fallen Nihil, and two more are awarded for turning in 6,000. Alternatively, 250 burning embers can be directly converted into a mystery box (at the expense of not progressing further in the event, however).

Three empty inventory spaces are required to open it.

Special rewards[edit | edit source]

These thematic rewards may be obtained by opening an event mystery box throughout the duration of the event.

Standard rewards[edit | edit source]

Two of the following are rewarded.

Gielinorian Giving[edit | edit source]

During the Gielinorian Giving event, the boxes are earned by giving Kat, Zoed, and Lau'Ra specific amounts of charity tokens for progress in the event, or by directly converting the tokens at a rate of 250 tokens per one event mystery box. They contain a variety of Treasure Hunter items and some event-specific items which may be claimed if the mystery box is opened throughout the duration of the event.

When opened, event mystery boxes yield a total assortment of three rewards, and the box is destroyed. Three open inventory spaces are required to open a box.

Ironman players get a message when reaching the 2,000 and 4,000 tokens marks as follows: Ironmen can't receive mystery boxes from this event.

The following is a selection of prizes which players can receive. Players will receive three rewards at a time, including one medium prismatic fallen star and two secondary rewards.

Build A Beach[edit | edit source]

During the Build A Beach event, the boxes are earned by converting beach sand at a rate of 375 sand per one event mystery box.

When opened, event mystery boxes yield a total assortment of three rewards, and the box is destroyed. Three free inventory spaces are required to open a box.

Ironmen can't receive mystery boxes from this event.

2020 Halloween event[edit | edit source]

The rewards during this event are identical to that from the Build A Beach event, with the exception that Ironmen accounts always receive 25 oddments instead of the normal rewards.

2021 Spring Festival[edit | edit source]

Event mystery boxes can be purchased from Thaerisk Cemphier for 3,000 Spring Tokens per box.

Event mystery boxes can be purchased during the event from Death's Spooky Reward Shop for 1,500 spooky tokens.
