Estate agents are NPCs (marked by Estate agent on the map) who are located in Varrock, Falador, Seers' Village, Ardougne, and Prifddinas. They also play a small role in the Tortle Combat miniquest and sell land on which a player-owned house (POH) is built. For a fee, estate agents can also change the house style and location of the player-owned house. They also distribute rewards for Construction skill mastery. The estate agents work for the Gielinorian Housing Agency.

Estate agents can give players Construction Contracts since 16 November 2020.

Estate agents also give access to the Estate Agents Shop where players can spend the contract credits earned while doing contracts.

House styles[edit | edit source]

Estate agents can redecorate the outside of a player-owned house for a fee. Each house style comes with a unique tune that plays upon entering the house. The estate agent will offer everything for half-price after completion of the Elite Varrock achievements.

Player-owned house locations[edit | edit source]

Players must pay 1,000 coins to purchase their first home in either Rimmington or Taverley. Players will earn more options as they level up their construction skill. Estate agents can move a player-owned house to any of the other house portal locations identified by the portal icon (POH portal) on the minimap as long as the player's level is sufficient.

Construction skill mastery[edit | edit source]

Estate agents sell the Construction cape for 99,000 coins to anyone with level 99 Construction. The Construction cape is the only skillcape that may be bought from multiple NPCs.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Though the game says its only the Varrock estate agent who offers half-off after the Elite Varrock achievements are complete, it actually affects all estate agents.
  • The elf is the only estate agent not to actually wear the Construction cape. She says this is because it clashes with her outfit.
  • The Prifddinas estate agent was originally blonde and was a member of the Cadarn Clan. On 10 November 2014 when the second batch of Prifddinas was released, she was given a graphical update and was made a member of the Ithell Clan.
  • The Falador estate agent references the Falador Massacre when talking to him about the Banner of Farradorn.
  • When speaking to an estate agent about the Construction cape, they will mention that they will sell it to players who can build a demonic throne. Construction can be boosted for a demonic throne from at least level 90 with a spicy stew, crystal saw, and sculpting chisel. Despite that, level 99 Construction will still be required to buy the cape.
  • The examine text may be a reference to Firefly, specifically Badger.
