Elite Robin Hood hat detail.png

The Elite Robin Hood hat is tier 82 Ranged equipment, requiring level 40 Ranged and level 82 Defence to wear. It is created by using 1 Golden thread on a Robin Hood hat. This will consume the golden thread with a confirmation dialogue. This process is irreversible and the upgraded hat is untradeable.

It has a slightly higher Ranged bonus and armour rating than the Pernix cowl due to its higher tier, but it misses the +2 Prayer bonus and the 110 life points bonus in comparison to the cowl.

The hat degrades over 60,000 charges of combat to a broken state. It can be repaired for 550,000 coins at a repair NPC or for less on an armour stand.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

The Elite Robin Hood hat at most, costs 550,000 coins to repair completely. The repair cost is precisely calculated by the degradation percentage (i.e. with 75% charge remaining, a full repair would only cost 137,500 coins). It may be repaired through a variety of methods.

With an NPC[edit source]

These less preferred methods cost more as they do not consider one's Smithing level for a repair discount.

Alternate methods[edit source]

These preferred methods provide a repair cost discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts).
