Dis is the largest city on Infernus, the demon realm. Its regent is Gree'gar, a Tsutsaroth demon.^[1] It is only spoken of in the Trivium Daemonum, in which Relenor claims to have learnt of its existence from Azacorax, the Avernic demon imprisoned within the Wizards' Tower. Relenor notes, however, that, as the information he obtained is taken from demons, it may not be wholly reliable.

The Zamorakian cult, the Order of Dis, took the name from the Infernal city.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Dis is a reference to the demon city featured in Dante's Divina Commedia. Additionally, "Dis" is also another name for Satan in Abrahamic religions.
