Catch some sardines. You will need level 5 Fishing and fishing bait to catch sardines. The fishing shop in Lumbridge sells these. Go to a saltwater fishing spot, such as the shore east of Lumbridge swamp. Right-click a new fishing spot, and choose Bait. You'll start using the fishing rod on your tool belt. Tip: Fish are the staple of an adventurer's diet. If you're planning to catch a lot of fish, be sure to bring plenty of fishing bait. Each fish you catch will consume bait. At level 10 Fishing, you are able to fish herring when fishing with bait.
