A Desert devil is a type of kebbit. Players with level 13 Hunter can catch them using a noose wand to gain 90 experience points.
The Desert devils' only habitat is the Uzer Hunter area (north of the Desert Lizards) in the Kharidian Desert. Players will be subject to the desert heat effect, so they should also bring waterskins or an Enchanted water tiara to prevent dying of thirst.
To hunt them, first investigate one of two burrows located within the hunting area. Then, look in either the rock slides or the cactus. (These look similar to the water-giving cactus) To catch, look in the disturbed sand.
While hunting, it may lead you on a false trail, usually ending up with you finding an old boot in disturbed sand. In case of this, simply treat the sand as you would a cactus or a rock slide, and continue looking for the Desert devil.
Desert devils will drop bones, raw beast meat, and desert devil fur. Players can make the fur into desert camo top or desert camo legs at the Fancy Dress Shop in Varrock for 20 coins each.
