The Dayguard were a group of Aviansie keshik warriors active during the Third Age.[1][2] When a warrior's partner died, the surviving aviansie would usually join either the Dayguard or the Nightguard and that group would be their new family.[3] The Dayguard and Nightguard were stationed at the Stormguard Citadel in order to both protect the inhabitants in case defences failed and to test the scientists' weapons.[2] The Dayguard were also used as battlefield troops and their specialty was fighting in small groups.[1]

Players can excavate a Dayguard shield at the Stormguard Citadel Dig Site.
