The Dancing Platforms is part of the Spring Fayre located in the south-eastern part of the crater. They are led by Dixie and Mixie, with two carnival musicians behind the stage. Dancing on the platforms during the event allows players to gain Prayer experience.

The player dances on one of the five platforms and attempts to follow the dance performed by the leaders (step, samba, skip, or twirl) by clicking the buttons. The player keeps dancing in the selected pose and receiving experience every 2.4 seconds.

At level 99 Prayer, dancing on one of the five platforms and doing the correct dance yields 59.4 Prayer experience, or 65.3 during a Happy Hour. Incorrect dance yields 14.8 Prayer experience, or 16.2 during Happy Hour.

Switching poses Experience per hour Happy Hour
Yes 89,100 97,950
No 38,925 42,712.5

During a Happy Hour, around 1,500 actions can be made.

There is a confirmation prompt about gaining experience before starting dancing that can be toggled off permanently.

Followers must be dismissed before players are allowed on the platforms, and attempting to dance on one with one summoned prompts "Followers don't have the required rhythm to join you in your dancing. Please dismiss it."

2017[edit | edit source]

Dancing on the platforms originally cost two fayre attraction tokens.

Doing the correct dance yielded 79.2 Prayer experience at level 99, or 87.1 during a Happy Hour, and also had a roughly 20% chance to award six fayre prize tickets, or one during a Happy Hour.

During a Happy Hour, one could obtain around 300 tickets.

Attempting to dance on a platform without enough fayre attraction tokens prompted the messages:

  • You do not have enough fayre tokens to take part in this activity. You need 2 tokens.
  • You can get more fayre tokens and tickets from the stall by the Bucking Baroo.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • It used to be possible to summon an interface pet using the "summon pet" option on the Summoning icon on the action bar after getting on the platform.
