A D&D token (penguin hide and seek) is an item gained from the Squeal of Fortune, granting the player an extra round of Penguin Hide and Seek and its corresponding reward Penguin points which can be exchanged for either Coins or experience. When redeemed, this token resets the current penguin count, allowing the player to spot the penguins again and gain the corresponding award, using up the tokens. Only one token can be used in any given week, this is to prevent players from spying the same set of penguins more than twice.
In 2020, a single token was rewarded as part of an event following the Penguin Hide and Seek rework on 14 September.
Though the Distractions and Diversions specific tokens are no longer obtainable in game, an item with a similar function known as a D&D token was later released. Of the three variants of this token (Distraction & Diversion reset token (daily), Distraction & Diversion reset token (weekly), and Distraction & Diversion reset token (monthly)) available in game, players wishing to reset the Penguin Hide and Seek D&D should seek to obtain a Distraction & Diversion reset token (weekly) and select to use it to reset Penguin Hide and Seek.
