Cursed ushabti detail.png

A cursed ushabti is an ushabti upgraded with cursed amascut sand. Like a normal ushabti, it can be used to catch the souls of Slayer monsters to fill the Sunken Pyramid and Slayer codex. The cursed ushabti has a 50% increased catch chance over the normal ushabti. Due to the rarity and price of sand, it is best reserved for Slayer level 100-117 targets. If a soul is released from a cursed ushabti, the ushabti will remain cursed.

If a cursed ushabti containing a soul is placed into the soul chest or player-owned dungeon, neither the ushabti nor sand will be returned.

Calculation[edit | edit source]

Cursed ushabtis use the same mechanism to capture souls as normal ushabti, except they multiply the target by 1.5 toward the end of the calculation.

See Ushabti#Chance of capturing a soul for full details on the calculation.

    • The cursed ushabti is now valued at a minimum of 1M to ensure it's protected over much lower valued items on death.
